july tattoos!!

i am sitting at the counter of nook as i write this, sipping on an iced oat latte and wondering what the block party down the street is about and why i decided to procrastinate doing my bookkeeping/emails until the weekend. i’d so much rather be at the block party. but i have to at least *pretend* to work - so instead of doing admin, i decide to color. these are the results:

i’ve been obSESSED with color tattoos lately. i used to hate them, but at this point i’ve just seen so many gorgeous color pieces that my mind has been changed. i’ll be offering the above designs at a discount moving forward for anyone interested :-)

another development: i’ve been really happy with how my machine tattoos have been coming out!

they also take less of a toll on my own body to make, which is awesome. however, handpokes are still near and dear to my heart! so, my plan moving forward is to make machine tattoos my default, while maintaining a small selection of handpoke only designs (like my locket flash from last month). if you want any other design handpoked, this will still be available with a surcharge to reflect the extra labor and amount of experience i have with handpoking as a medium.

otherwise, here’s what i’m watching (10/10 obsessed, let’s talk about it), reading, and listening to (sympathy, everything is romantic, & mean girls are top 3 for me so far) this month. i’m also obsessed with making my own whipped cream - i bought a hamilton beach hand mixer on amaz*n (sorry) for $20 and it literally changed my life. fresh fruit and whipped cream is now my dessert of the summer.
